It’s an East Anglia August for the Blacktops.

Blacktop Deluxe are very much looking forward to returning to East Anglia for a couple of gigs in early August.

Keith, Alan and Tim have put the original, Blacktop ‘Power Trio’ line up back together for a few gigs and it all kicks off in Norfolk and Cambridge, this coming August

Friday August 4th is not only ‘National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day’ but it also sees The ‘Tops‘ returning to the fabulous ‘Brickmakers’ in Norwich.

The last time Keith & Alan played ‘The Brickies‘ was with Blacktops predecessor Blue on Black as part of the then ‘Blues Matters‘ weekend festival back in 2005 !

So as you can imagine the guys just can’t wait to Rock some more Blues at The Brickies.

Well if that doesn’t take the Biscuit !

Saturday August 5th might be ‘National Clown Day’ but its also the day that ‘The Big Tops‘ are back at this years Cambridge Rock Festival.

Keith & Alan will be returning the Blacktops for a 5th visit to this fantastic. family friendly, Rock Festival, this time with Tim back in the original  ‘Power Trio’ lineup that first played Cambridge Rock Festival (shortly after the bands formation) back in Aug 2013.

A special treat for the guys will be to meet up with some very good friends from The Netherlands who are travelling over especially for the gig, just awesome !

So, boy are they ready to come back and ‘rip it up’ at Cambridge’ again and trust me, there’ll be no ‘Clowning’ around’ when they take to the Emerald Stage for another hours worth of Weapons Grade, Rockin’ Blues  – Blacktop Style’.
